NPFL: Akwa United Wil Present A Solid Team For New Season - Ayeni

Ahead of the 2022/2023 Nigeria Professional Football League season, the head coach of Akwa United Deji Ayeni has confirmed that they will present a solid team for the new season, BSNsports.com.ng has gathered.

Despite being the defending champions, the Promise Keeper failed to successfully defend their title last season.

They resumed training recently for the upcoming Aiteo Cup but the former Sunshine Stars coach emphasized that their target is to have a good outing in the coming season.

"We have started preparations for next season, even though we are participating in the FA Cup.

"Be rest assured that we are going to present a solid team that will challenge for the titles," he said.
