NPFL: Amokachi Breaks Silence On Lobi Stars Resignation

Former Lobi Stars head coach, Daniel Amokachi, has spoken out about his abrupt departure from the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) club, according to BSNSports.com.ng.

Amokachi resigned last week, citing the team’s inconsistent performances this season as a key factor in his decision.

"Good evening, sir. I hope this message finds you well. After consulting with my mother and family, I regret to announce my resignation as the team’s Technical Adviser," Amokachi stated.

"I have given my best, but things are not going as they should. The club is bigger than any individual, and I believe stepping aside now gives the team a better chance to fight its way out of the red zone.

"I sincerely appreciate His Excellency, the Board members, coaches, backroom staff, players, and fans for their unwavering support," he added.

Under Amokachi’s leadership, Lobi Stars played 19 matches, securing three wins, seven draws, and nine losses.
