NPFL: Ayodele Ismail Returns To Shooting Stars After Absence

Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) have confirmed the return of winger Ayodele Ismail after the player was previously reported absent from the club without official leave, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Ibadan-based club had earlier issued a statement addressing Ismail's unexplained absence, raising concerns over his whereabouts as preparations for the new football season gathered pace.

However, the situation has now been resolved, with the winger reporting back to the club on Monday.

Ismail immediately rejoined his teammates and participated in the team's training session in Ibadan as Shooting Stars continued preparations for the upcoming NPFL campaign.

His return comes as a welcome boost for the Oluyole Warriors, who are intensifying their pre-season programme ahead of the 2026/27 Nigeria Premier Football League season.
