The coach of Akwa United, Mohammed Babaganaru, has opened up on the reason the club has been inconsistent since the start of the season, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Promise Keepers currently occupied the 16th spot on the log and their poor form has been a major this season.

The former Kano Pillars coach mentioned poor scoring form and injury worries as the main issues militating against the club.

"Week in, week out, we keep working on that goal-scoring area, but so far, we haven’t got it right, and I’m not satisfied because we haven’t been scoring enough goals,” Babaganaru lamented.

“And another thing is that we have a lot of injuries in the team. So many of our players are injured".

"Most of our strikers are sidelined, and that’s why we’re still struggling with that problem.”
