NPFL: Barau FC Terminate Suleiman’s Contract

Nigeria Premier Football League side Barau FC have confirmed the termination of forward Yahaya Ibrahim Suleiman’s contract, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Kano-based club disclosed that the decision followed a request from the player, which has now been officially approved.

In a statement released by the club, Barau FC confirmed the development, stating: 

“Barau FC has officially granted Yahaya Ibrahim Suleiman’s request for contract termination.”

The termination takes immediate effect, leaving Suleiman as a free agent.

Suleiman made 18 appearances for the Maliya Boys during the ongoing 2025/2026 NPFL season, scoring five goals.

The forward joined Barau FC at the start of the campaign, and the club has since wished him success in his future career.
