The poor run of Heartland FC in the Nigeria Premier League continued on Wednesday as they were held to a 2-2 at home by Bayelsa United, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

It was Promise Anyanwu who netted the opening goal in the 11th minute and ensured that the host was in control going into the half-time.

Bayelsa United under coach Deprieye Tebowei continued to press high in search of an equaliser but it was the host that added to their goal in the 75th minute through Ike Chinedu.

Just as the hosts were thinking of getting their first win of the season, the away side scored two quick goals in the 83rd and 84th through Nneoyi Ofem and Robert Mirzo to earn a valuable away point.

The Naze Millionaires remained the only team in the league without a win this season.
