NPFL: Bosso Denies Resignation Rumour

Barau FC Technical Adviser, Ladan Bosso, has refuted reports claiming he resigned from his position, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Speculations surfaced last week suggesting that Bosso had stepped down following Barau FC’s poor start to the 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.

However, the veteran coach was on the sidelines on Sunday as the Maliya Boys recorded a 2–1 home win over Kano Pillars at the Sani Abacha Stadium — their second victory of the campaign.

Addressing the rumours, Bosso made it clear that he has no intention of abandoning the team during challenging times.

“You know Bosso is someone who never gets perturbed, no matter what. I have never resigned, and I won’t resign from a team that’s struggling. Doing that would mean I came to push them down and then run away,” he told reporters after the match.
