NPFL: Bosso Laments Missed Chances In Loss To Kwara United

Bayelsa United head coach Ladan Bosso has attributed his team's narrow defeat to Kwara United to missed scoring opportunities, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Prosperity Boys fell 1-0 to the Afonja Warriors at the Ilorin Township Stadium on Saturday, with Bosso left ruing his side’s inability to convert their chances.

Speaking after the match, Bosso expressed disappointment but commended his players for their determination and hard work.

"We lost because of the careless misses in front of goal, which eventually led to the goal against us. Despite the defeat, I have to appreciate the resilience of my boys — it shows we have something to build on," Bosso said.

"Ilorin was a place I had hoped we could secure at least a point, and we almost did, but for that costly mistake. Now, we need to go back, assess our performance, and make the necessary adjustments."

On the officiating, the coach had no complaints, describing it as fair and satisfactory.

 "As far as I'm concerned, the officiating was good. For me, no issues there," he concluded.
