NPFL: Doma United Appoint Deji Ayeni As Technical Adviser

Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) newcomers Doma United have confirmed the appointment of coach Deji Ayeni as their new Technical Adviser on a two-year contract ahead of the 2026/27 season, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Savannah Tigers announced the appointment as part of their preparations for life in the top flight following their promotion to the NPFL.

Ayeni arrives with a wealth of experience in Nigerian football, having previously handled clubs including Sunshine Stars, Akwa United, and Enyimba. 

His extensive knowledge of the domestic league and reputation for tactical discipline are expected to strengthen Doma United's ambitions as they seek to establish themselves among the country's elite clubs.

The management of Doma United believes the experienced tactician is the right man to lead the team into a new era and build a competitive squad capable of holding its own in the NPFL.

Ayeni's immediate task will be to oversee the club's pre-season preparations and guide the Savannah Tigers as they gear up for their maiden campaign in the Nigerian top flight.
