NPFL: Doubt Surrounds December 1st Kick-Off Date

The tentative kickoff date announced during the week by the Interim Management Committee in charge of the Nigeria Professional Football League is looking very much unlikely, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

As participating clubs intensify their training for the season, IMC proposed December 1st 2022 as the new kickoff date for the 2022/2023 league season.

The 2021/2022 league season under the former body League Management Company, ended in June with Rivers United winning the title for the first time in their history.

According to the new update, the NPFL Head of Operation Davidson Owumi on Saturday confirmed again that IMC has not announced any date for the kickoff.

And he further said the date will be announced immediately after they finish consultations with league critical stakeholders.
