NPFL: Eguma Explains Why Rivers United Is Getting Good Results

Manager of the Nigeria Professional Football League side Rivers United Stanley Eguma has revealed the reason the club is getting good results in the ongoing 2021/2022 season, BSNsports.com.ng understand

The Pride of Rivers on Wednesday extended their lead on top of the table with a 0-1 away win against Katsina United.

With the results, the Rivers based club has only lost once this season and has been able to pick 18 points away from home.

Eguma said the taking over of the team by the Governor of the state Nyesom Wike is one of the reasons they are performing well.

" We have been doing well and the results are showing practically that is football.

Once you put in a good effort you will get the needed results and the players are also working with a good frame of mind because the management is meeting up to their demands.

Right from the moment, His Excellency took over this team we have experienced a lot of changes and it's showing," he said.
