Enyimba International head coach, Stanley Eguma, has opened up about the strategies he used to revive the team since taking charge, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Eguma took over from Yemi Olanrewaju following the club’s inconsistent performances. Under his leadership,

Enyimba has shown significant improvement, with their recent away victory against Niger Tornadoes in Minna reigniting confidence within the squad.

"It has boosted our hope and confidence in rebuilding the team," Eguma told 54FootballX.

"When we arrived, things were tough—the players' psychology and morale were low. But now, they are starting to believe in themselves because we’ve given them direction."

He acknowledged that some players are still adjusting but remains optimistic about the team's progress.

"We’re not where we want to be yet, but we are improving. We need to work harder and improve our conversion rate. Hopefully, in the coming matches, we will score more goals."

With 10 wins, 11 draws, and 7 losses so far this season, Enyimba remains in contention for a continental ticket.
