NPFL: Enyimba Denies Placing Players On Half Salary

Nigeria Premier Football League side Enyimba International FC has dismissed reports claiming the club has placed its players on half salary, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Earlier on Tuesday, a section of the media alleged that the club’s management had reduced players’ wages following recent poor performances. The report suggested that the decision was part of a disciplinary response to the team’s current form.

However, the club’s management has strongly denied the story, describing it as misleading and untrue. According to Enyimba, no such directive was issued, and the players continue to receive their full entitlements.

The club urged the public to disregard the rumour and warned against the spread of false information that could destabilize the team.
