NPFL: Enyimba International Set To Unveil New Manager

Former Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) champions Enyimba International are set to unveil Deji Ayeni as the club’s new head coach ahead of the second stanza of the ongoing league season, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Aba-based giants have been without a substantive manager since the stepping aside of Stanley Eguma, leaving the People’s Elephant in search of stability on the technical bench.

According to updates from the team’s camp, Ayeni who previously handled Akwa United—is expected to take charge in the coming days as Enyimba look to revive their campaign and restore confidence within the squad.

The former African champions have endured an inconsistent run this season, prompting the club’s hierarchy to act decisively in appointing an experienced tactician capable of steadying what has been described as a sinking ship.
