NPFL: Enyimba Receive Major Injury Boost Ahead Of Bendel Insurance Clash

Enyimba have been handed a significant lift ahead of their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) matchday five encounter against Bendel Insurance, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The People’s Elephant welcomed back five key players from injury, including goalkeeper Nathaniel Asibe, winger Ekene Awazie, forward Joseph Atule, and midfielder Emeka Onyema.

Onyema, who joined the nine-time NPFL champions during the last transfer window, is yet to make his full debut for the club.

Their return comes as welcome news for head coach Stanley Eguma, whose side is keen to build on last weekend’s impressive away victory over Bayelsa United.

Enyimba have collected eight points from their opening four fixtures this season and will look to extend their good run when they host Bendel Insurance at the Enyimba International Stadium, Aba, on Sunday.
