NPFL: Expect Tough Second Round - Ogunbote Cautions Players

The coach of Shooting Stars Gbenga Ogunbote has caution his players to expect a tough second round, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Despite starting the season on a shaky note, the Oluyole Warriors finished the first stanza of the league in the 3rd position on the log.

The team resumed training on Monday ahead of the resumption of the league and Ogunbote informed the players on what to expect.

“I think we do not need anybody to tell us that it is going to be a very tough second round, even though the first round was equally challenging,” Ogunbote stated to the players after the team’s training on Monday.

“Our position in the first round will surely attract a lot of challenges, but we have been able to tell our players, and I am sure they are aware of that too.

“Everything we need to do is to be on our toes, to make sure that we give our best to ensure that we represent the team and the state very well", he said.
