NPFL: Finidi Aims For Maximum Points Against Shooting Stars

Rivers United head coach, Finidi George, has set his sights on securing all three points in their upcoming clash against Shooting Stars, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Pride of Rivers climbed to second place on the NPFL table after their hard-fought 1-0 victory over Katsina United on Friday.

Looking ahead, the former Super Eagles coach believes that Shooting Stars' consecutive away fixtures could work in Rivers United’s favour.

“It’s going to be a tough and intense game, but we are going there to win and take all three points. We’re not leaving anything to chance," Finidi stated.

“We have a 50-50 chance, and we must go for it. We can’t afford to let them take the points—we will give everything in this match.

 "We know they have two away games coming up in the league, which could be an advantage for us. If we avoid defeat in Ibadan, it will be a big plus,” he added.
