The head coach of Enyimba Finidi George has frowned at the attitude of Akwa United players in their Matchday 2 fixture of the season, BSNSports.com.ng has gathered.

The Promise Keepers held the People's Elephants to a barren draw at the Enyimba International stadium in Aba and secure their first point of the season.

While reacting to the game, he showed his displeasure towards the tactics adopted by Akwa United players and further said his players were not aggressive enough, especially in the first half.

"We were not aggressive and gave them room to play which made it difficult for us to even win back the ball.

It's unfortunate, sometimes you planned for a game but it turned out to be something else.

We expected the way they played, and the players knew but due to one reason or the other, we didn't push up.

The second half was a 50/50 chance and we couldn't score, they ( Akwa United) delayed the game, they fell many times and it was really sad.

I don't advise my players to fall unnecessarily because it kills the tempo of the game.

They came with the purpose of not losing and for players to be falling anyhow is sad", he said.
