NPFL: Finidi George Rues Missed Chances Against Sunshine Stars

The coach of Rivers United Finidi George has attributed their inability to pick maximum against Sunshine Stars to missed chances, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Pride of Rivers scored the opening goal but allowed Sunshine Stars to level up just before the end of the game.

The former Super Eagles boss said they deserved all the points in the game.

" It was a good game, we played to win.

"In the first half we missed couple of chances, we would have won the game, if we scored the game would have been different".

"We later got a goal and we tried to hold on but the free kick, we should have done better, they got a free header we should not have been like that".

"A draw is not bad but looking at the game , I think we should have won the game 2-1", he said.
