NPFL: Finidi Reveals Target With Rivers United

Newly appointed Rivers United Coach, Finidi George has revealed his ambition with the club, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The former Super Eagles boss was appointed a few weeks ago by the management of the Pride of Rivers to take over from interim gaffer Evans Ogenyi.

While speaking with Sportsboom, the former Ajax Amsterdam winger said he wants to make the club a dominant force.

" I'm happy with the project the club is looking at, and I see a lot of potential for growth and success.

"The visions of the club align with my ambition, and I believe we can achieve great things together," he said.

Finidi's first competitive assignment with Rivers United will be against Bendel Insurance on the opening day of the 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League season.
