Togolese striker Franck Mawuena has parted ways with Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL) champions Remo Stars after the expiration of his contract.

Mawuena played a key role for Remo Stars during the last campaign, featuring consistently for the Ikenne-based side.

The experienced forward is now set to return to Togo to pursue a new chapter in his career.

During his time with Remo Stars, Mawuena made 44 appearances and scored nine goals.
