The Ghana Embassy in Nigeria paid a courtesy visit to Barau FC midfielder, Nana Abraham, who recently sustained a neck injury during an attack incident in Kano.

Abraham, who was earlier admitted to a private hospital following the unfortunate event, has now been discharged and is currently recuperating at home.

During the visit, the Embassy delegation expressed relief over the player’s recovery and described his discharge from the hospital as “a welcome development.”

They also commended the medical team for their swift intervention and assured that the Embassy will continue to monitor Abraham’s well-being while maintaining communication with Barau FC’s management.

The player, visibly in high spirits, appreciated the Ghanaian officials and the club for their support during his recovery process.

Barau FC officials have also reiterated their commitment to ensuring the safety and welfare of all players, while calling for improved security measures around NPFL match venues.
