The winning streak of the newly promoted Bendel Insurance was halted on Saturday in Benin as action resumed on Matchday 6 of the Nigeria Premier Football League, BSNSports.com.ng report.

The Benin Arsenals proved formidable in the first 5 match days in the league amassing 15 full points to stay on top of the league.

In Uyo, Abia Warriors proved to be a difficult guest as they walloped their host Dakkada 4-2.

Emmanuel Ayoasi reduced the deficit for the host in the 65th minute but Felix Anakwe restored the 2-goal advantage of the away side.

Aniekan Ekpe reduced the scoreline to 2-3 in the 84th while Monday Yakubu sealed the game for Abia Warrior in the 90th minute and ensured a maximum point.
