NPFL: Gombe United Players Undergo Successful Medical Tests

 Gombe United have successfully carried out an ECG scan and test on all the club's players ahead of the 2023/24 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

Gombe United would have their hands full with their Matchday 1 clash against newcomers, Sporting Lagos this weekend at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Lagos.

The Savannah Scorpions medical staff and the team doctor were on ground to conduct the scan and test on all the players at the club's medical center in Gombe on Tuesday.

Club's General Manager, Abubakar Abubakar Yellow, commended the medical staff for their proactivness during the test.

"It paramount for the club conduct this test and scan on all our players as the new football season begin this weekend, we need to know the health conditions of our players, because it's our number one priority, we need and must take care of our players medically"

"This ECG San and test is also part of the CAF Club Licencing and we a well qualified medical staff in the team"

Abubakar Yellow who was recently reappointed by the Gombe State Executive Governor Alhaji Muhammadu Yahaya Inuwa assured fans of good outing this season.

Gombe United will embark in a long journey to face Sporting Lagos in the Match-day 1 of the 2023/24 Nigeria Premier Football League season.
