Manager of Abia Warrior Imama Amapakabo has attributed his defeat to Sunshine Stars of Akure to poor officiating, BSNsports.com.ng can report.

Umuahia based club suffered a 1-0 defeat to the Akure Gunners on Sunday in the matchday 22 of the league.

" I do tell my players that number only matters when you have the goals and get behind the lines, the players that came on didn't do well.

It's been tough on us, I don't want to talk about officiating, but it's been like this for some time, we just keep the team where it belongs at the end.

When I played a game like this I feel pity for our football, when you travel by road for 14 hours and then you lose this way it's sad.

We played well, I think in the final third we weren't able to stay calm and finish the chances," he said.

With the defeat, Abia Warrior remained 15th on the table.
