Returning striker Israel Abia has set his eyes on securing a continental ticket with Rangers International of Enugu, BSNsports.com.ng can report.


The lanky attacker just returned to the country after a short stint with the Saudi Arabia second division side Al Rawdah and has resumed training with the Flying Antelope.


Abia said is optimistic that the Rangers who are placed 4th currently on the table can get a chance to play in the continent next season.


“My coming back to the team, Rangers, I believe will to a very large extent, help us to push for a good finish to the season.


Remember that Rangers is a great team that has a large followership and with the squad, we have now, I am optimistic that a continental ticket would not elude us,” said the fast paced attacking sensation.


Abia, who scored 8 goals for the Rangers before leaving the country scored 14 goals in 16 games for the Arabia side.
