Former Wikki Tourists manager, Kabiru Dogo has returned back home as he replaced Azeez Muhammed as the head coach of Kwara United, BSN sports.com.ng reports.

The Afonja Warriors announced his appointment at the club less than 24 hours Azeez Muhammed resigned. According to the club statement, Dogo who has handled top flight teams in the Nigeria Professional Football League resume work with immediate effect.

Kwara United have recorded poor results in the 2023 abridged league with another 0-2 loss to struggling Nasarawa United in the NPFL match day 7 on Saturday. Azeez Mohammed resigned after the loss.

Coach Dogo is faced with huge task of turning things around for the Harmony Boys whose position on the log is not too pleasant. With escaping relegation at the end of the season as target, Kwara United will face in-form Remo Stars in their next match.
