NPFL: Kano Pillars Express Gratitude To Katsina State For Support During Temporary Relocation

Kano Pillars FC have expressed deep appreciation to Katsina United FC, the Katsina State Football Association, the Katsina State Government, and the people of Katsina State for the support and hospitality extended to the club during its temporary relocation to the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Following a directive from the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), Kano Pillars played their last five home fixtures in Katsina. The club described the period as one marked by warmth, peace, and strong support, which contributed positively to both the players’ performances and overall experience.
In a statement released by the club, special recognition was given to Katsina United FC, particularly its Chairman, Alhaji Baba Malumfashi, for his cooperation and brotherly support. Kano Pillars noted that the assistance received exemplified the spirit of sportsmanship, unity, and mutual respect that football promotes.
The club also commended the Katsina State Football Association for their role as exemplary hosts, highlighting their efforts in ensuring a smooth and successful stay throughout the five matches played in the state.
Kano Pillars further extended appreciation to Katsina United supporters and football fans across the state, praising their enthusiasm, respect, and sportsmanship, which made the team feel at home despite playing away from their traditional base.
As the club prepares to return to the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano ahead of their next home fixture, Kano Pillars stated that they leave Katsina with fond memories, heartfelt gratitude, and renewed respect for the state’s football community.
