NPFL: Katsina United Go Past Bendel Insurance

Katsina United on Saturday at the Shehu Dikko Stadium in Katsina got the better of Bendel Insurance in the first match of Matchday 14 of the Nigeria Premier Football League, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

After having a dwindling performance earlier in the season, the Chanji Boys are gradually getting themselves back into the game.

Bendel Insurance put up a superb performance in the game and they were able to peg back the attack line of the host led by Chidera Eze 

The host up their game in the second half and piled more pressure on the away side, they got a well-deserved penalty kick in the 71st minute after Idoko was brought down.

Eze did well in converting the penalty kick to give his team a 1-0 win and maximum points.
