NPFL: Kun Khalifat Vows To Stun Shooting Stars in Ibadan – Sporting Director

Kun Khalifat Sporting Director, Ifeanyi Anaemena, has issued a bold warning to Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) ahead of their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Matchday 3 encounter at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Ibadan, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The league newcomers head into the clash on the back of their first victory of the season a convincing 3-1 triumph over El-Kanemi Warriors.

Anaemena says the win has boosted his players’ confidence as they prepare to face the Oluyole Warriors this weekend.

 “We’ve just wrapped up training, and our focus is now fully on Shooting Stars,” Anaemena said.

 “The team is in a more positive mood after our win on Sunday. That victory could have come earlier, considering the level of performance we’ve shown in the first three games. But no time is too late we’ve finally had the turning point we were waiting for.

 “We hope to build on that success, starting with this weekend’s match, and sustain the momentum for the rest of the season.”

Kun Khalifat, who are competing in the NPFL for the first time, will be looking to cause an upset when they take on 3SC in front of their home crowd.
