By Our Reporter
Kwara Football Association has confirmed that it has received provisional approval from the League Management Company (LMC) to readmit fans back to the Stadium in Ilorin for Nigeria Professional Football League Matches following series of appeals.
In a statement as released by the association Spokesman, Bolaji Lawal on Saturday, the LMC granted the approval starting with the Sunday (3rd, July 2022) clash against Nasarawa United with a view to understudy the situation and will not hesitate to rescind it's decision if crowd control measures are not adequate.
The statement also urge fans to come to the stadium, purchase tickets and condole themselves in appropriate manner before, during and after the match while adding that any breach of law & order laid down by the LMC will result to further heavy sanctions on Kwara United in their quest to earn a continental ticket in the 2021/2022 NPFL Season.
The fine and ban on Kwara United came into place following crowd violence that emanated from their home clash against Rivers United on Matchday 26 of the NPFL.
