NPFL: Kwara United Paid The Price For Missed Chances – Coach Tunde Sanni

Kwara United head coach, Tunde Sanni, has admitted that his team paid the price for their missed opportunities in their 2-0 home defeat to Akwa United, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Afonja Warriors were stunned by the Promise Keepers at the Ilorin Township Stadium on Sunday, failing to capitalize on their early dominance.

Reacting to the disappointing result, Sanni lamented his team's lack of efficiency in front of goal.

 "We should have won convincingly with the way we played in the first 20 minutes," he said.

"Unfortunately, we wasted too many scoring chances, and it cost us the game."

The defeat saw Kwara United slip to 13th place in the NPFL standings.
