NPFL: Kwara United Pick Win In Maiduguri, As Bayelsa United Earn Draw Against Rivers United

The concluding part of Matchday 9 of the Nigeria Premier Football League was held on Wednesday and it was a good outing for Kwara United and defending champions Rivers United, BSNSports.com.ng report.

Kwara United came from a goal down to beat host El Kanemi Warriors 2-1 in Maiduguri.

David Nnaji put the host ahead in the 20th minute but goals from Jide Fatokun and Godwin Oshagebemi ensured maximum points for the Afonja Warriors.

In Yenogoa, Chiamaka Madu put Rivers United ahead in the 35th minute but Daniel Ekpo put the host level in the 51st minute.

Malachi Ohahume restored Rivers United's lead in the 66th minute while a 91st-minute goal ensured that the game ended 2-2.
