NPFL: Kwara United Will Not Go On Relegation -Dogo Assures Fans
Sampson Adedeji
The head coach of Kwara United Kabiru Dogo has said the club will survive relegation at the end of the season, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
He made the statement after the Afonja Warriors played a 1-1 draw against Bendel Insurance at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin.
He praised his players for their effort in the game and further said they will continue to consolidate on the one point picked on the road in the remaining matches.
"Insurance is lucky to have got a point. We lost to them in the first leg and our target was to get maximum points today. The boys worked very hard, just a few seconds loss of concentration got them the equaliser, as we could have secured the 3 points.
"By God's grace we are going to survive, part of our survival is the point who earned against Insurance as it will go a long way.
Though we've lost 2 games at home to Gombe United and 3SC, we just want to consolidate on our home and see what we can pick on the road but I believe Kwara United will not go on relegation", he said.
