The Benue based team started the season strongly only to start faltering towards the tail end of the first round which led to the sacking of former coach Eddy Dombraye.

The club on Monday reappointed Dominic Iofa as the new vice-chairman of the club.

Iorfa while reacting to his appointment assured the club supporters that they avoid relegation in the end.

" Lobi Stars supporters should not be anxious, there is no way the club will go in relegation.

We will do our best in the present situation," he said

After matchday 19 the club is placed in 19th position with 19 points in 19 matches
