Ahead of the midweek match of the 2021/2022 Nigeria Professional Football League, the manager of the Rangers international of Enugu Abdu Maikaba is hoping to get the right result against Katsina United, BSNports.com.ng gathered
The Flying Antelope suffered a 2-0 defeat to Lobi Stars at the Aper Aku stadium in matchday 20 and the result did not go down well with Maikaba.
Former Plateau United gaffer said the result recorded against Lobi was not what they bargained for but believe they will change the story in the next match.
" This was not the result we expected from this game as my boys did their best but it was not enough to get us any point for their effort.
My defenders failed to react well leading to the second goal just as I have my reservations over the call for the penalty to be retaken after the first one was stopped.
"We thank God for the match and will work on the weak link in the team before our next match," he said.
Rangers will host Katsina United at the Awka City stadium on Wednesday.
