NPFL: Mangut Excited With Nasarawa United Win, Switches Attention To Warri Wolves

Nasarawa United technical adviser, Mbwas Mangut, has expressed delight following his team’s convincing victory over El Kanemi Warriors while affirming full focus on their next assignment against Warri Wolves, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Solid Miners cruised to a 3-0 win on Sunday in Lafia, with in-form striker Anas Yusuf scoring twice to secure maximum points and end their recent winless run. 

Mangut commended his players for their resilience and execution of the game plan. "I feel very excited. We planned to approach today's game differently and I am glad it paid off with multiple goals."

He also praised the visitors for putting up a fight. "I give respect to the opponents because they also had their playing time and created some chances."

With the morale-boosting victory now behind them, Mangut said attention has shifted to the next league encounter against Warri Wolves in Ozoro.

"Our next game will be taken as it comes against Warri Wolves in Delta State. It's a long journey, but we hope to approach it with high hopes and expectations."

Nasarawa United will be aiming to maintain their momentum as the NPFL season intensifies.
