Fidelis Ilechukwu, head coach of Nigeria Premier Football League side Plateau United has confirmed that Nasarawa United was the better side in Sunday's league match, BSNSports.com.ng report.

Nenrot Silas' 13th-minute strike ensured that Plateau United secured the maximum points against the Solid Miners.

Ilechukwu attributed the performance of the away team to their position on the table.

"In all sincerity, Nasarawa United were the better side of the meeting, and this is due to their position on the log.

"They came all out for this game, and were more determined than us, but we were lucky to get the win.

"We have three more games to go. We will take on Kwara in our next game away from home, and we hope to get something positive from that encounter.

"It's that game that will determine whether we can play in the Super Six competition", he stated.
