NPFL: Niger Tornadoes Players Receive Cash Rewards After Plateau United Thrashing

Players of Niger Tornadoes have been rewarded with a cash prize of ₦1 million following their emphatic 4-0 victory over Plateau United on NPFL matchday nine, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Ikon Allah Boys put up a dominant display at the Bako Kontagora Stadium on Sunday, with Abdulazeez Dalhatu netting a sensational hat-trick and Shehu Dabai adding the fourth goal.

Chairman of the Niger State Sports Commission, Danjuma Abdul Masu, presented the players with the monetary reward immediately after the game.

In addition, Dalhatu and Dabai received individual awards and ₦200,000 each for their outstanding performances.

The resounding win marked Niger Tornadoes’ fourth victory of the 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League season.
