The technical adviser of Niger Tornadoes, Majin Mohammed, has confirmed that injured star midfielder Victor Okoro is likely to return this weekend, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Okoro missed the club's last game against Bayelsa United due to the injury he sustained during the last home game against Ikorodu City.

Majin believes his absence affected the team in Bayelsa and hopes his return will have a positive influence on the team against Remo Stars.

"Victor Okoro suffered a minor knock in Maiduguri, he featured in our home game against Ikorodu City, but we realised he is exhausted, that’s why we rested him for the trip to Yenagoa,” Mohammed told Niger Tornadoes media.

“Hopefully he would be back for the weekend.”
