NPFL: Nikyu Refuses To Blame David's Goalkeeping Gaffe For Nasarawa United Loss

The head coach of Nasarawa United Bala Nikyu has refused to blame his team goalkeeper Yinka David for the goal conceded, BSNSports.com.ng report.

The Solid Miner conceded 2 goals in 6 minutes to give Enyimba International an advantage in the game and it ended 1-2 in favour of the People's Elephant.

While reacting to the outcome of the game, Nikyu also pointed to the lack of competitive matches as another factor that was responsible for their defeat.

"For a long time, we've not played a competitive match and we are a bit match rusty it affected us but I'm sure we will come back.

Our goalkeeper is fantastic, he just had a bad day and he has been doing well, so we can't blame him for making mistakes", he said.
