NPFL: Obi Targets More Goals For Abia Warriors

With 6 games to end the season, striker Samson Obi has set his eyes on more goals for Abia Warriors, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Umuahia-based club on Wednesday secured a comfortable 2-0 win over Rivers United in a rescheduled game.

It was Obi who netted the opening goal in the 64th minute before Meme Kike added the second late in the game.

While reacting to the game, Obi said his target is to score more goals before the end of the season.

"I feel very happy because I have really worked hard to achieve this feat,” he told the club’s media.

“My intention is to add to my goal tally before the end of the ongoing season.”

The victory over the Pride of Rivers catapulted Abaia Warriors to 10th on the log.
