NPFL: Ogunbote Admits Shooting Stars' Poor Performance Against Abia Warriors

Shooting Stars head coach, Gbenga Ogunbote has acknowledged that his team underperformed in their 3-1 loss to Abia Warriors, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Oluyole Warriors endured a difficult outing in Umuahia on Sunday, with Ogunbote conceding that it was far from their best display.

 "It wasn’t a good game for us. We conceded some careless goals due to unforced errors," Ogunbote said in his post-match interview.

 "Sometimes in football things go your way, and sometimes they don't. We only started playing well in the second half after switching off earlier."

"That’s football — we’ll go back, review our performance, and work on improving," he added.

Following the defeat, Shooting Stars have dropped to 11th place in the NPFL standings.
