NPFL: Ogunbote Reveals What Shooting Stars Must Do Ahead Of New Season

Gbenga Ogunbote, head coach of Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side Shooting Stars, has shared his thoughts on the steps the club needs to take ahead of the upcoming season, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Ogunbote, who is entering the final year of his two-year contract, expressed disappointment with the team’s performance in the recently concluded NPFL campaign.

“Everyone knows I signed a two-year deal with Shooting Stars, and I’ve completed the first year. Unfortunately, the season didn’t meet my expectations,” he told Shooting Stars media.

 “We need to reassess the entire campaign—identify where we went wrong and understand how it happened.

 “Once that’s done, we can decide the best way forward", he told club media.

Shooting Stars finished the season in 8th place, securing 54 points from 38 matches.
