The head coach of Remo Stars Daniel Ogunmodede has rued the missed chances in the game against Nasarawa United, BSNSports.com.ng has gathered.

The Sky Blue Boys suffered a 2-0 defeat to the Solid Miners at the New Jos Stadium on Monday afternoon.

While speaking after the game, Ogunmodede made it clear that his players failed to convert their chances which cost them the game.

" Though it was not a favourable result for us we take it as it comes, we have a lot of chances in the game but we never took them and we suffered at the end of the game.

They have their chance and they took it, so it's not a good way to finish the first stanza of the league but we will try to come back stronger in the second stanza.

My players were not efficient enough in carrying out the instructions, they played to instructions but not the way we planned it until we conceded the goals.

The first stanza did not go the way we planned it, we planned to be second on the table minimum but unfortunately, we were not clinical enough, we created chances in all our games but we failed to convert them", he said.
