NPFL: Our Focus Is On The League Title - Eguma

Manager of the Nigeria Professional Football League club, Rivers United Stanley Eguma has again underlined the ambition of the team as the second stanza begins, BSNsports.com.ng report.

The Pride of Rivers ended the first stanza of the league on top of the table one point ahead of the closest Plateau United.

They secured valuable away points against champions Akwa United on Saturday in the first game of the second round.

The game ended in a 1-1 draw and River United further strengthen their position on top of the log.

While reacting to the outcome of the match, Eguma said that irrespective of the opponent either home or away they always put in their best and they will continue to do the same till the end of the season.

" We are still focused on our ambition, we are not giving up, you can see as we play today, it's our tradition anywhere we went to play and we will continue to give our best until the end of the season," he said.
