NPFL: Oweifaleya Signs Contract Extension With Bendel Insurance

Nigeria Premier Football League side Bendel Insurance have secured the future of promising youngster Alex Oweifaleya after the striker signed a new three-year contract extension with the club, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The new deal will keep the 19-year-old forward at the Benin City-based club until 2029, rewarding him for his impressive performances during the just-concluded NPFL season.

Oweifaleya enjoyed a breakthrough campaign in his debut season in the Nigerian top flight, scoring 10 goals to establish himself as one of Bendel Insurance's key attacking players.

 His performances quickly endeared him to the club's supporters and highlighted his potential as one of the league's emerging talents.

The young striker joined Bendel Insurance from OYC Academy, Warri, last year and has since developed into an integral member of the squad.

The contract extension reflects the club's confidence in Oweifaleya's abilities and their commitment to building the future around some of their brightest young talents.
