NPFL: Plateau United Coach Lament Fans Absence, Targets Victory In Uyo

The coach of Plateau United Mbwas Mangut has lamented the absence of fans in their last home game against Nasarawa United, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Jos-based team is currently serving a behind-closed-door punishment following the unruly behaviour of their fans in their penultimate home game.

They secured a comfortable 2-0 win over Nasarawa United but Mangut said it's not easy playing without fans.

He further targeted maximum points in their next match in Uyo.

" For us to be comfortable in our position on the log we need to get points as quick as possible,” Mangut told Plateau United’s media.

 “We will take on Akwa United as it comes first because without fans there is no football. The fans add a lot to the game.”
