NPFL: Plateau United Denies Attacking Rangers Players

The management of the Nigeria Premier Football League side Plateau United has strongly denied the rumour going around that the players and bus of Rangers were attacked after the game on Sunday, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
There have been several reports that the fans of Plateau United attacked the Flying Antelopes after the game.
The management via its media team put out an official statement on Monday to deny the claim.
" At the end of MD 11 Game involving P/UTD FC And Rangers Intl Of Enugu In Jos, Viral Photographs And Videos Flooded Diverse Media platforms Showcasing An Injured Player Of Rangers International Of Enugu amongst it's fan base.
"The club is insistent it knows nothing about the attack nor has anything to do with the accused persons that attacked."
According to Plateau United FC General Manager, Habila Hosea Mutla,' we are a peaceful club who believe in either of three outcomes.
"When we step out for an encounter is to win, lose or draw. Hence, we will do everything within our powers to maintain law and order within the stadium parametre", the club said.
