NPFL: Plateau United Dismisses Rumours On Mangut, Mutla Exit
Sampson Adedeji
Nigeria Premier Football League club, Plateau United, has refuted reports circulating on social media claiming that head coach Mbwas Mangut and General Manager Habila Mutla have left the team, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Mangut, who signed a three-year contract with the former NPFL champions, played a crucial role in steering the club away from relegation last season.
In an official statement, the club reaffirmed that any news regarding appointments or dismissals will only be made through recognized and certified communication channels.
“In response to social media reports suggesting that Plateau United Technical Adviser, Mbwas Mangut, will not continue next season, the club strongly denies these claims once again,” the statement read.
“As we previously clarified in similar reports about the club’s General Manager, any official communication on appointments, removals, or reinstatements will come solely from authorized media sources, as the club is funded by the state government.”
